Note From Meghan:
I am a waitress at
Baker's Square. A full slice is 1/5th of the pie;
a half slice is 1/10 of the pie. Most people tend to ask for a half slice.
In addition to
this, a sweet alternative with less fat to get at Baker's Square is a cinnamon
roll
(8 grams). Just thought you'd like to know.
Note From Judy: I was just at Baker's Square Restaurant yesterday...asked
to see the
nutrition facts for the pies just out of curiosity. I noticed that they list
1/8th of a pie
as the serving size for the facts, but the waitress told me that they serve
you 1/5th of
a pie! So, I came home and recalculated the numbers based on the bigger slice
and the
correct Point value for the French Silk (at 1/5th slice) is 19 Points. Just
thought this could
help visitors to the site not to misjudge their points.
Obviously we are going to have to be extra-careful when we go out. Every restaurant
does
things a little differently so we MUST be careful of portion sizes! Enjoy
but be on the watch!
Thank you Linda, Meghan & Judy
